The reunion is only a short three months away and the committee has been planning for several months. Our desire is to keep you informed during this process so you can get it on your calendar and begin to make arrangements well in advance.
We know you don’t come to hear our ‘60’s music or that you wish to have a ‘cruise ship meal’. But when was the last time you had a Kings ‘cheese frenchie’? You do come to connect with old friends, relive the memories at Hickman, Jr High, Elementary school, your old neighbors and Columbia in general. For some this may be your first time back to Columbia in 50 years. We hope this is the best 50th reunion you can have!! We have planned activities in order for you to reconnect.
The reunion is planned for June 21 and 22, 2019. This is how the weekend is shaping up at this point. In order to keep our reunion as cost effective as possible for everyone, we have planned some activities that cost nothing or that you are *on your own* for the cost of food or beverage.
As in the past, any money left over in excess of $500 will be donated to the Hickman Class of ’69 Special Needs Fund which provides funds for students who can’t afford testing fees, cap and gowns, etc. We are accepting your individual donations to this fund as well. Perhaps you wish to donate in memory of one of our classmates.

- For those arriving early, Thursday evening the 20th we can meet at Perche Creek Golf Club for mini golf and go carts. Please let us know if you will be in town and we can make arrangements to meet there. *on your own for food / beverages*
- Friday the 21st is registration, meet and greet time at Shakespear’s South location. *on your own for food / beverages*
- Saturday the 22nd there will be a tour of Hickman at 11 a.m., a walk on the trail and a coffee crawl at several downtown locations (each starting at 9 a.m.). *on your own for food / beverages*
- Then the big evening event with a meal and music will be held at the historic Tiger Hotel Ballroom. The ballroom is handicap accessible. *cash bar at this function*
The hotel staff can accommodate special dietary needs, but they need to know in advance, so please let us know so that we can pass that on to them. The cost for the dinner is $50 per person.
